Kerim Mušanović
Kerim Mušanović is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian academic painter, street artist and muralist.
After graduating from high school of Applied Arts in Sarajevo, he continues at the Academy of Fine Arts of Arts in the painting department in Sarajevo where he graduated in 2015. and becomes a Master of Fine Arts in 2017.
His career as a street artist started in 2012. when he won the first prize in Sarajevo in 3D street painting, he has also won many awards and recognitions for his artistic achievements. Today, he is the only active 3D anamorphic street artist in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He spends his time designing art for businesses, video production and creating murals all around the world.
Kerim finds his inspiration through wild life, comics, street art and graffiti. For his murals he likes to combine techniques of using paint rollers, brushes and also spray cans.
He loves to explore and paint in abandoned and lost places. With the murals he wants to give them the value back for the purpose this place once had.
In 2015 he decides to travel on his own around the world to paint on street art festival and events. He documents many of his projects where he shares his experience throughout videos on his Youtube channel.
He has painted in countries like Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, United Arab Emirates and across the USA.
It is also pointed out that in 2015 he participated with a group of artists in painting the largest 3D anamorphic street painting for the Guinness Book of Records in Florida.
Murals and 3D paintings by Kerim can be viewed in museums of optical illusions in Los Angeles and Sarajevo.
In 2019, he became a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The status of an independent prominent artist was awarded in 2020.
He lives and works in Sarajevo.
